LACK OF SAFE WATER SUPPLY
​​GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To improve Water Supply from high-risk to low-risk water sources in Barangay Adante, Piñan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte by the year 2019 based on the criteria set by the World Health Organization for Healthy Villages.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
-
To identify existing local support from the Local Government Unit
-
To establish inter-sectoral linkages between the LGU and NGOs for the implementation of water project
-
To increase awareness on water-borne diseases and its consequences to health
-
To prevent and increase awareness on Schistosomiasis
-
To increase the number of households utilizing proper water treatment
-
To procure additional funding for the establishment of protected water sources
-
To improve existing water sources
HIGH PREVALENCE OF HYPERTENSION

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To reduce the number of uncontrolled hypertension from 100% to at least 22% among adults (18 years old and above) with hypertension by 2019 in Barangay Adante, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.
​
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
-
To increase the case finding of hypertensive individuals from 3% to at least 90%.

To increase the number of compliant individuals from 3% to at least 75%.

To sustain and strengthen the implemented projects and programs.
IMPROPER SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To improve the solid waste management practices among residents of Barangay Adante from 42% to 80% of the total number of households by the end of June 2019
​
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

To identify sources and common type of wastes produced in the barangay

To establish an organizational structure among the residents of the barangay and to formulate a strategic plan at the barangay level

To increase knowledge and awareness on solid waste management
-
To improve the process of collection, segregation, and disposal practices in the barangay
-
To build up compliance on solid waste management for project sustainability
POOR NUTRITIONAL STATUS AMONG CHILDREN 71 MONTHS OLD AND BELOW

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To decrease the number of undernourished children from 25% to 5% among children 71 months old and below of Barangay Adante, Zamboanga del Norte, by the year 2019.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

To establish a nutrition plan in collaboration with the key persons and the community

To enhance the awareness of the community residents on malnutrition and its health consequences.

To improve the knowledge and practices of the residents of barangay Adante on proper nutrition

To promote healthy food choices among students of Adante Elementary School

To establish a sustainable food source for target households in the community

To ensure the sustainability of all implemented projects
LACK OF QUALITY PRENATAL CARE

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To increase utilization of quality prenatal care in Barangay Adante, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte from 63% to 70% by the year 2019
